Threshold Throwdown Workout #*: “Squatelers Blues” – Presented by DG Gear

8 min to establish max weight BEAR complex for 2 cycle for each partner.

Score is the combined weight of both complexes.


Each pair will share one bar. 

Weight on the bar may not decrease.

1 Bear complex = 1 deadlift, 1 hang power clean, 1 front squat, 1 push press, 1 back squat, 1 push press.

You may combine movements (i.e. squat clean, thruster, cluster, etc)

Each bear complex is COMPLETE when the bar is LOWERED (NOT DROPPED) to the ground after the last push press.  

Athletes need to demonstrate lock out during each push press.  Push jerk and split jerk will be accepted.

If an athlete drops the bar mid cycle or between 1st and 2nd cycle they would need to re-start.

VIDEO STANDARDS: ***Please note- athlete in video forgets to do a front squat in the second cycle of complex.
