Wed’ like to congratulate everyone on their spectacular performance this week. Nice job, everyone!! Preliminary (and by Preliminary, we do mean PRELIMINARY – there are still some scores to upload, and calculations to run) scores to date can be found here, while this week’s weekly challenges can are summarized below.

 WEEK #2 TEAM CHALLENGE.

Max Time HS Hold. 

Rules. Contest occurs on Wednesday only. Athletes will have two attempts to perform a max-time HS hold. Scores will be recorded on the board, and must be completed by 7:00 PM on Wednesday evening. The Supreme Chancellor, Grand-Poobah Rear-Admiral of the CFTT Main Event Series will take responsibility for uploading scores to the scoring document. 

LIFESTYLE CHALLENGE.

Drink 1/2 your body weight in oz. of Water Daily. 

Rules. For each day that you drink a total of 1/2 your body weight – as measured in ounces – of water between Monday, 3/7 and the Saturday morning (3/12), you earn a point for your team (EXAMPLE: If you weigh 200 lbs, you’d need to drink 100 oz. of water. Weigh 150 lbs.? You’d need to drink 75 oz. of water). Athletes may score a total of 5 points for the week (1 point each day, Mon-Fri day). In order for your consumption to count, you MUST DRINK 8 oz. of water within the first 15 min of waking up, and prior to consuming anything else. Beverages that count towards this effort are as follows:

  1. Water. You may add lemon juice, cucumber peels, orange slices, etc.. Additionally, you may count water used in your recovery drink towards your total.
  2. Nothing else.

You may not ‘catch-up’ on another day by drinking more water to make-up for a previous day’s effort.

Logging Scores. Scoring will be done on an honor system. All scores must be logged prior to 9:00 AM Saturday, 3/12. Athletes will log their scores on to this spreadsheet. PLEASE BE SURE TO ONLY LOG YOUR SCORES IN THE TAB TITLED ‘TEAM & LIFESTYLE CHALLENGE‘.
